This Privacy Policy explains how Mivex collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Mivex mobile application. Please read it carefully. By using Mivex you consent to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

• Account information: when you create an account we store basic profile data such as display name, avatar choice, and an internal user identifier.
• User content: videos you upload (media files and any captions you provide). Uploaded media is stored and processed to enable playback and sharing functionality across the service.
• Usage data: basic analytics such as app usage patterns, which features are used, and error/crash reports. This helps improve the app experience.
• Preferences: likes, bookmarks, blocked user lists, and user settings are stored in your account and on the device as needed to provide the service.

Permissions

Mivex may request permissions from your device for:

• Camera — to record video when you choose Record Video.
• Photo Library — to select a video or image from your library.
• Microphone — to record audio for videos.

Permission prompts include a description in the app bundle (NSCameraUsageDescription, NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription, NSMicrophoneUsageDescription). You may deny these permissions; the app will still function for non-recording features.

How We Use Information

• To operate and improve the app (content playback, feed ordering, and basic diagnostics).
• To enable social features such as messaging and profile display.
• To process in-app purchases (via the App Store) and to update local coin balances when purchases complete.

Sharing and Disclosure

Mivex does not sell personal information. The app does not share personal information except as necessary to provide core functionality (for example, showing a user’s display name with their content), or when required by law. If the app integrates any third-party services in future, those services will be disclosed here.

Data Retention and User Controls

Most user data is kept locally on the device. You can delete your account from Settings, which removes account data stored by the app. If you have questions about data deletion, contact support@Mivex.com.

Security

We follow reasonable practices to protect data stored by the app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; use caution when uploading sensitive content.

Children

Mivex is not intended for users under the age required in your jurisdiction to consent to the collection of personal information. If you believe a minor has provided information to Mivex, please contact support@Mivex.com.
